  • Thruway campaign pushes for E-ZPass signups

    Recordonline.com - February 19, 2018 - The New York State Thruway Authority is dangling $10 in front of E-ZPass holdouts in an attempt to boost use of the tags before it converts to all-electronic tolling.

    The promotion, which started Feb. 1, gives motorists a $10 credit on their new E-ZPass accounts if they take 10 trips on the Thruway in the first six months after they register their tags. It runs through Feb. 26. Read more >>

    NY Post - February 18, 2018 - The MTA is battering drivers with thousands of dollars in fines — for skipping out on tolls as low as $8.50, a Manhattan class-action lawsuit says.

  • Rhode Island’s First Truck-Toll Gantry Installed on Route 95

  • Tollway willing, able to take over I-80, official says

    Chicago Tribune - February 15, 2018 - The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) is ready, willing and financially able to take over Interstate 80 — if there is the political will to make it happen, a tollway official told the Will County board Thursday morning.

    Tollway Chairman Bob Schillerstrom was invited to the meeting to discuss needed improvements to the interstate, where congestion and truck traffic have created safety issues. County officials indicated they are willing to partner with the tollway to move this concept forward. Read more >>
