  • Florida Toll Relief Program Delivered Significant Savings in First Six Months

  • Federal court upholds RhodeWorks truck tolling program

    Rhodeislandcurrent.com - December 6, 2024 - Trucks can once again be tolled in Rhode Island, a federal appeals has decided.

    A three-judge panel of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ruled caps on tolls for local traffic were unconstitutional, but that the overall system created under the state’s RhodeWorks program could remain in place.

    Under the 2016 legislation signed by then-Gov. Gina Raimondo, tractor-trailers and larger trucks were required to pay a toll when they crossed through 14 gantries across Rhode Island’s highways and bridges. Funding from the trucks would then go to improving the state’s bridges. The plan placed a $20-per-day cap to cross the state in any one direction for large commercial trucks. Read more >>

  • Here’s how you can get discounts on the new $9 toll to enter Lower Manhattan

    NJ.com - December 2, 2204 - Before New York City’s congestion pricing plan to charge a $9 fee to those driving into Lower Manhattan starts on Jan. 5, there will be eight, hour-long public webinars explaining to drivers how to apply for certain discount programs, which MTA Chief Executive Officer Janno Lieber said will be held in December.

    The sessions will be held between Dec. 4 and 19. They will feature a question-and-answer period and be translated into Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Bengali, Haitian Creole and Korean. Read more >>

  • Ohio Turnpike toll rates to increase in January

    WHIO.com - December 2, 2024 - Turnpike tolls are determined based on vehicle classification and distance traveled.

    For Class 1 passenger vehicles (low two-axle vehicles and all motorcycles):

    E-ZPass rate: 7.1 cents per mile (up from 6.5 cents per mile in 2024)

  • Turnpike’s $25 million toll system upgrade will get first significant test in Thanksgiving travel period

    WVMetroNews.com - November 26, 2024 - Motorists traveling the West Virginia Turnpike during the Thanksgiving holiday are going to have a new option when it comes to paying their $4.25 toll.

    West Virginia Parkways Authority Executive Director Jeff Miller said the recent completion of the Turnpike’s new tolling system will allow a ‘toll by plate’ option.
